Adam's bread base cake mix consists of high quality ingredients such as coconut, almond flour and whey protein. Without the addition of sugar, the baking mixture still scores with a slight sweetness. The high protein content, in combination with only a few carbohydrates, offer you an innovative alternative to conventional cakes.
Preparation: For a cake base, mix the baking mixture with 250ml water (add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil if necessary). Spread the dough in a cake tin and bake for about 25 minutes at 170 ° C (fan oven).
For muffins / brownies, add 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder and sweeten more if necessary.
Note: The cake mix is only slightly sweetened. So if you like it sweet, you should sweeten something.

Since the cake contains a sweetener according to the list of ingredients, I didn't add any other sweetener. Precisely because I was concerned that the result might be overly sweet.
So I just added some oil, nuts and freshly ground cocoa powder to the mixture. The mixture was technically very easy to handle and the consistency of the cake turned out great. But unfortunately it is a disappointment in terms of taste. Not the slightest trace of "sweetness". And this is exactly what annoys me. Cake without a perceptible sweetness is not a cake for me. You don't even have the feeling of eating cake.
The manufacturer should either sell the mixture expressly unsweetened (and then clearly declare this on the packaging), or please bring in a balanced amount of sweetness. Then the consumer knows where he is !!
It's a shame.
The cake is very, very tasty. I made it with nuts and it really impressed me and my guests.
I am very satisfied with the goods.
Wasted money. Doesn't taste like anything!
